Terms and Conditions

 

Introduction

GLOBAL HSE TRAINING & CONSULTING LTD delivers regulated qualifications in areas including Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Assessment, and Business management, Construction, Teaching and Training and Leadership. Certification is issued only upon full and successful completion of all qualification requirements as defined by the relevant awarding body.

Awarding Bodies

We are approved to deliver qualifications through the following recognised awarding organisations:
ProQual, Focus Awards, OTHM, HABC, Highfield (Hifield), IOSH, GlobalCert Awards, IQ, OHS CPD, and LEAA.
The choice of awarding body for your qualification is determined by us, based on relevance, availability, and registration timelines.

Course Delivery and Assessment

We offer:
  • Online Courses
  • Classroom-Based Courses
  • Blended Delivery (both)

Assessment Methods include:

  • Portfolio-based evidence for NVQs
  • MCQs and short-answer questions for IOSH, HABC, OSHA, and others
  • Direct observations (onsite or remote) where required Learners must have access to a suitable workplace and supervisor when needed for assessment.

 

Enrolment and Payment Terms

  • Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of the registration form and minimum 40% deposit.
  • The remaining fee must be paid within 3 months of enrolment.
  • Payment plans are available.
  • No certificate will be issued until full payment is received.
  • Non-payment may result in suspension from the learning platform.
 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Individual Learners

  • Full refunds are allowed before registration with the awarding body.
  • No refunds after registration for learners on payment plans.
  • For learners who have paid in full, partial refunds may be approved before assessment begins, minus registration/admin costs.
  • No refunds are given once assessment has started unless GLOBAL HSE TRAINING & CONSULTING LTD is unable to deliver as agreed.
  • Learners may transfer to another course, subject to admin and registration cost recovery.

 

Refund Deductions

Approved refunds will be calculated after deducting:

  • Registration and awarding body fees
  • Assessor/IQA work already completed
  • Administrative setup charges
  •  

Course Expiry and Extensions

  • The standard course completion timeframe is 12 months.
  • Learners who do not complete within this period may request an extension.
  • Extensions are available for up to 6 months at £50 per month.
  • Learners who are inactive for over 300 days may be removed from the course.
  • After 12 months, a £249.99 reactivation fee applies.

 

Certification

  • Certificates will be withheld until full course fees are paid.
  • Valid photo ID must be submitted before certification.
  • Certificates unclaimed within 1 month may be subject to safekeeping fees.
  • Certificates may be destroyed if unclaimed after 3 months.

 

Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Acceptable Use

  • AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Grammarly) may be used for support (e.g., spelling, grammar, research).
  • All AI use must be declared and appropriately referenced.

 

Misuse of AI

  • Submitting AI-generated content without acknowledgement
  • Copying/paraphrasing AI output and claiming as original
  • Falsifying sources or omitting AI reference Penalties include warnings, resubmissions, or disqualification.

 

Plagiarism and Malpractice

  • All work must be the learner’s own and based on real workplace activities.
  • Suspected plagiarism or falsified evidence will trigger a formal review.
  • Learners may receive up to two formal warnings before removal.
  • An admin fee may be applied for remarking after plagiarism detection.
  • We use AI and plagiarism detection tools and conduct professional discussions to verify authenticity.

 

Internal Quality Assurance

  • Submissions older than 2 years may be considered outdated.
  • Updated evidence may be requested to meet current awarding body standards.
  • Certification will not proceed until internal quality assurance (IQA) processes are satisfied.

 

Support and Feedback

  • Tutor feedback is provided within 5 working days of each submission.
  • A maximum of 5 assignments per week can be submitted for review.
  • Support is available only to learners with active enrolment and no overdue payments.

 

Data Protection

  • We comply with the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Learner data is used for registration, communication, course delivery, certification, and marketing (if opted in).
  • You may withdraw consent for marketing at any time.
  • Personal data will never be sold or shared with third parties without your consent.

 

Liability

  • GLOBAL HSE TRAINING & CONSULTING LTD is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss.
  • Our total liability is limited to twice the value of the course fee, excluding death or personal injury due to negligence.

Professional Body Membership

  • Completion of a qualification does not guarantee membership with IOSH, IIRSM, or any other body.
  • Membership eligibility is governed by the relevant body’s own standards.
  • Learners must check requirements prior to application.

 

Business and Group Learners

  • Monitoring reports for corporate clients are available on request with learner consent.
  • Invoices must be paid within agreed terms (typically 30 days).
  • Overdue invoices may result in learner suspension from the platform.
