Who should take this course?

We recommend learners are a minimum of 14 years of age. However, Centers will need to assure themselves that learners, whatever their age, are physically capable of completing the practical assessment.

Aim of Course

The objective of this qualification is to support learners in becoming emergency first aiders in the workplace. The content of the qualification meets the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the Health and Safety Executive Northern Ireland (NSENI) requirements for training emergency first aiders in those organizations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.

This qualification is approved for delivery to learners aged 16 and over. However, an SIA license cannot be applied for until the age of 18.

Starting The NVQ

To get started you will need to complete our registration form.

As a minimum, you will need a copy of your photo ID.

The qualification can be started on any day, and our assessors are able to complete your induction outside of normal working hours. Allowing you a large amount of flexibility.

Completing The NVQ

This can be completed in 4 weeks as long as you are prepared to work with your assessor and gather the correct evidence.
Once completed you will receive your Diploma via email.
